Equity Meets Opportunity

AccessCyber is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnterpriseKC (EKC), purpose-built to deliver accessible, outcomes-driven cybersecurity workforce development at national scale.

Our flagship offering, the Apex Cybersecurity Academy, is a fully online, screen reader–accessible 10–12 week program leading students to CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications, followed by employment placement support. The program is funded primarily through state Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agency partnerships, meaning qualified students may pay $0 out of pocket.

AccessCyber acquired the Apex Program from Novacoast, Inc. for $1.00 on May 1, 2026—a deliberate symbol of Novacoast's commitment to reinvesting every dollar into the program's growth. Key Apex personnel, including David Mayne (Program Architect and Lead Facilitator), have transitioned to AccessCyber to ensure continuity for current students and state partners.

Since its launch in 2023, Apex has established vendor agreements with state VR agencies across more than 20 states, built a network of over 70 employer partners, and secured a CompTIA partnership for curriculum and certification alignment.

What We Deliver

Three Pillars of Access

Accessibility–First Training

Every curriculum module and platform is built for screen reader compatibility and assistive technology from day one—not retrofitted.

Credential & Career Outcomes

Students earn industry-recognized CompTIA certifications and receive direct employment placement support through 70+ employer partners.

$0 Out-of-Pocket Access

State Vocational Rehabilitation funding means qualified students access the full program at no personal cost—removing the most common barrier to entry.
